I ordered a custom design from Vexels and, yeah, it wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. I’m totally calm about it, of course, but the first version felt kind of rushed and didn’t really follow the details I sent over. I ended up repeating the same feedback more than once, which got a little frustrating.
Support did get back to me, so that was something, but the replies took longer than I expected. Even after the changes, the final design still felt basic. Maybe other people have a better experience, but for me, it didn’t really feel worth what I paid...

I gave vexels.com a try because I needed some quick design files, and oh my gosh, I was so disappointed. A lot of the designs felt super generic, almost like old clipart I’ve seen a million times before, and some of them just weren’t clean enough to actually use without feeling embarrassed about it.
Maybe it’s fine if you only need something really basic, but for me it felt low effort and kind of outdated. For the price, I was expecting designs that looked way more polished, so yeah, not thrilled at all.

"Confusing to use"
Tried finding and editing a design. The site felt messy. Too many clicks, and some stuff didn’t load. Got annoyed and gave up fast.

I tried out their merch mockups, but for some reason they just didn’t look quite right to me. The shirt fit seemed a little unrealistic, and the print placement felt off too. I tested it for a bit, but it wasn’t really worth it for what I needed, so I ended up canceling.
"Updates feel way too slow"
I signed up for Vexels thinking I’d be getting fresh designs regularly, but it hasn’t felt that way. Every time I log in, it seems like I’m scrolling through the same kinds of designs over and over.
After I paid, I started feeling a bit unsure about the whole thing, like maybe the value they show upfront isn’t really what you get once you’re in. For the price, I expected a lot more new content each week, not just a few things here and there.
I spent too much time searching around and still couldn’t find much that felt new or useful for what I needed. I’m disappointed with it, and I don’t see myself renewing

"Canceling Was More Frustrating Than Expected"
I tried to cancel my subscription, it was way more of a hassle than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many steps and not enough clear direction. For me, that left a bad impression, and I probably wouldn’t sign up again unless they make canceling easier.

I downloaded a few designs from Vexels thinking they’d be ready to use, but I quickly realized the file formats weren’t really what I needed for my project.
Some of the files only came with limited options, so I ended up having to convert them myself, which was frustrating. It kind of defeats the purpose of downloading ready-made files if I still have to spend extra time fixing them.
Maybe it works fine for other people, but it just wasn’t useful for me. I expected more format choices, and I probably wouldn’t use it again. Has anyone else run into the same issue?

I had a hard time finding what I needed on the site. It felt messy, and the filters didn’t really help much. As a customer, I feel like a site should respect people’s time and make the shopping experience straightforward.

"Didn’t feel worth it for print on demand"
I tried Vexels because I was looking for designs to use for print on demand, but compared to other options I’ve used, it just didn’t feel like a great fit. A lot of the artwork looked generic, and I kept thinking I’d probably see the same designs popping up in other sellers’ shops too.
The licensing also wasn’t as clear as I’d like for POD. Maybe it’s fine if you just need inspiration or quick ideas, but compared to building a shop with more unique designs and cleaner usage terms, I wouldn’t really rely on it.

"Downloading Was Way More Frustrating Than Expected"
I tried downloading a design and it just sat there loading forever. At first I thought maybe it was my internet or that I was doing something wrong, but then it failed twice. When it finally did go through, the file wasn’t even what I thought I was getting. Maybe I missed something, but it felt like a huge waste of time. I don’t think I’ll be using Vexels again...

"Refund process was kind of a mess"
I asked for a refund pretty much right after I realized the subscription had renewed, but support just kept pointing back to the policy over and over. I don’t know, maybe I missed something, but it didn’t really feel like they were trying to help or understand the situation. The whole process felt harder than it needed to be, almost like it’s set up that way. I probably won’t use them again.

I was just trying to figure out the commercial license, and wow, it felt way more confusing than it needed to be. I swear I read the terms three times and still came away feeling like I needed a lawyer, a whiteboard, and maybe a small support group.

I signed up thinking I had a good idea of what I’d be paying, but then I started running into extra limits and charges that weren’t obvious at first. I’ve used similar services before, so I’m used to comparing plans and fine print, but this still felt poorly explained. It came across a bit misleading to me, and I ended up cancelling.

I’m not totally sure, but a lot of the designs felt really familiar, like stuff I’ve already seen all over the place. There might be a few original ones mixed in, but overall it didn’t feel very fresh to me, which was kind of disappointing
